Dad’s Toy Shop is the place for the kid with eye on the big, super cool toy, as well as the kid at heart. JP and his brother Rod opened the store 33 years ago, and they carry a variety of radio controlled cars, planes, helicopters, and boats in gas-powered and electric varieties. They also have their own “parts and services” department, just in case you run your car or plane across the road and into a light pole (a surprisingly common ailment of their radio controlled patients). They also carry die-cast and model cars and activity kits such as leather working and rock polishing. Be sure to check out:  Radio controlled cars. They have car models that can go 35 MPH, and are capable of equipping some of them to go as fast as 70 MPH! Most of their radio cars are what is known as “off-road” types in the industry. “Starter packs” that include everything to get you going start at $139.

 Model Trains. A variety in stock for both the beginner and the serious train enthusiast. They have models of three different scales displayed.

 The website. You will find not only everything in the shop, but also some things that they don’t stock regularly. A big perk is that the company will ship it directly to you!
