BeauLily was founded in 2006 by three women whose vision is to create comforting, entertaining and therapeutic products for seniors. TwiddleMuffs are simple hand muffs with a twist—designed to provide comfort, warmth and activity to aging hands, and to promote increased hand flexibility, blood circulation and brain stimulation. They are also perfect for anyone who is soothed by repetitive tactile stimulation.

Each one is made from super soft furry fabric, and trimmed in soft satin or faux suede and features a variety of touchable items for aging hands to explore—including buttons, fringe and even a soft, squeezable ball attached inside.

TwiddleMuffs are the creation of a mom-owned company called BeauLily. It all started when Margaret (one of the owners) created a hand muff for her grandmother. In her own words, “My Grandmother Lily had been marvelous with her hands, creating beautiful knitted sweaters, delicate embroidery and award winning recipes. As she aged, her vision was greatly reduced and those wonderful hands became idle and chilled. TwiddleMuff was created to give her inquisitive hands something to keep them moving, active and warm, and remind her how much she is loved…even when I couldn’t be there with her.” And with that, BeauLily was born.

There are currently 5 designs: TwiddlePup, TwiddleSport, two TwiddleCats, and the basic TwiddleMuff. They are easy to care for and are machine washable. You can see more pictures and get more information on their website: www.beaulily.com.
