Printer-friendly versionI know that a lot of times, we tell you about places you can go buy something amazing or unique. But there are times, and this is one of them, where we also get to introduce you to great websites that are just informative, interesting or fun. This one is all three.
Someone told me about this website when I was trying to figure out a way to get my kids involved in their chores. But I wanted a more holistic approach, something that would address the many aspects of raising kids.
So here’s how it works.
You create custom charts for each of your children. You can include basic chores, and include opportunities for the kids to earn extra points by being kind, being creative, and being on top of things by getting their homework done.
The kids get online, and enter in completed chores and tasks. They earn points they can use in the little online world they create. There are games to play, houses to furnish and little cute animals to dress in virtual fashion. They also have options where you can download printable worksheets and create an allowance system.
There are several levels of accounts available. There is a FREE account that provides some great basics. But you can level up. There are upgraded memberships for either individual children ($5.95 a month), or teachers and parents to set up groups of students and children ($15.95 a month, unlimited charts). These levels allow more access and more perks for a very reasonable price.
